Confidentiality Policy

Confidentiality is a professional obligation, not a courtesy. It applies to you from the day you enrol.

10.1 Your obligations#

• Never disclose the identity, or identifying details, of any real client, patient, or third party in any session, assignment, discussion, or community channel. This includes names, workplaces, institutions, relationships, and any combination of details that could identify a person.
• Treat all case material presented in the course as confidential, whether real, anonymised, or fictional.
• Do not discuss, quote, screenshot, or share outside the cohort anything a fellow learner discloses about themselves or their practice.
• Do not record any session.
• If you are already practising, do not use the course as a forum to seek clinical supervision on identifiable live cases. Discussions here are educational, not supervisory.

10.2 Our obligations#

We keep your personal data, assessment performance, and any personal circumstances you disclose confidential, and share them only as described in the Privacy Policy.

10.3 Limits#

Confidentiality does not apply where disclosure is required by law, where there is a credible risk of serious harm to you or another person, or where a matter must be reported to authorities. If a genuine risk of harm becomes apparent, we will act, and we will tell you we are doing so wherever it is safe to do so.

10.4 Duration#

These obligations continue after the course ends and after your enrolment terminates.

10.5 Breach#

Breach of confidentiality is treated as serious misconduct and may result in immediate termination without refund, withholding or revocation of certification, and referral to your academic institution or to authorities.
